Bloomingdales Nursery is a well established, up market nursery situated at 145 Main Rd, Walmer, Port Elizabeth which was established in 1990 and a considerable amount of money has been channeled into the physical development of the sight with the vision of creating a comprehensive home, garden, lifestyle centre and office park.

Today the dream of a Lifestyle Village is a reality. It currently has 22 shops comparable to Lifestyle Centre’s in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Bloemfontein and even worldwide.

The nursery is a carefully designed horticultural marketing experience which has a high customer appeal as opposed to the traditional ‘plant shop. The present site contains both indoor and outdoor retail areas, with a lovely meandering flow. One leaves the village feeling quite refreshed and inspired. The architectural flow of the buildings together with the gardens and points of interest allow for more than just a shopping experience which tends to retain visitors.

The centre prides itself on its family based ideals, which provides something of interest for all in the family. Parents can shop and children are entertained simultaneously, with our playground and pet shop. There are also craft and art shops for the little ones.
